PDH / PDL Liquidity Run
Previous day high (PDH) and previous day low (PDL) hold enormous resting liquidity: breakout orders, stops from yesterday's losers, and targets from yesterday's winners. When price reaches them you get one of two very tradeable outcomes — a sharp rejection back into the range, or a clean break followed by a retest and continuation. This model produces the biggest daily R.
Why it works
Everyone can see yesterday's extremes, which is exactly why they matter. The question is never whether price goes there, it is what happens when it arrives.
Daily levels, 15m context, 5m or 1m trigger.
London and New York sessions.
The checklist
- 1Price trades into PDH or PDL.
- 2Reversal case: wick through, body rejects, structure shifts on 5m.
- 3Continuation case: body closes beyond the level, then retests it as support/resistance.
- 4Volume/volatility expands on the move away from the level.
Execution
Reversal: on the structure shift back inside. Continuation: on the retest of the broken level.
Beyond the extreme of the raid wick.

When you should not take it
- Do not pre-position before price reaches the level.
- Do not fade the level in a strong trending market without a structure shift.
