All instruments.Power of Three (AMD)
Sessions tend to follow three phases: a quiet accumulation range (usually Asia), a manipulation leg that raids one side of it (usually London or the New York open), and a distribution leg that delivers the real move. Understanding which phase you are in tells you whether to wait or to act.
Why it works
If you know the day is still in manipulation, you stop trying to trade the trend that does not exist yet.
Timeframes
15m and 1H.
Session
Full trading day.
The checklist
- 1Asia builds a defined range.
- 2London or New York raids one side of that range.
- 3Price expands away from the raid for the rest of the session.
Execution
Entry
Only in the distribution phase, after the manipulation leg completes.
Stop
Beyond the manipulation extreme.
Target
The day's opposite extreme.
When you should not take it
- Trading during accumulation is where small accounts get chopped to pieces.
